The Open Mic

The Open Mic is a new podcast about all things Drupal, open source and project management. The bi-weekly show is recorded at the OPIN office and hosted by Pat Cooney (thatpatguy on drupal.org and twitter), who has worked in web development for over 15 years and been using Drupal for ten. We will be bringing in a variety of guests from the Drupal, open source, web development and design world to provide insight and tools towards those working or interested in web development and who want to learn more. Thanks for you comment Michael. This podcasting stuff is new to all of us here and we're working through the technical details as well as just trying to plan and record the shows.

We are actually using individual mics for each panelist, but, since this is new to us, we're still trying to get out the kinks and get everyone more comfortable using the microphones. Baby steps :)

Thank you for starting this Drupal podcast series. So far, it appears promising, except for the use of only a single microphone, which means the podcast participants seated furthest away from the microphone cannot be heard without the podcast listener cranking up the volume to the point where participants closer to the microphone are much too loud. Each participant should have his or her own microphone, even if this means using Skype instead of a conference room.
